WASHINGTON – ITI vice president of global policy and law John Miller released the following statement regarding the Trump Administration’s creation of a National Risk Management Center, a hub of cooperation between the federal government and private sector, featuring collaboration across industry sectors.

“We appreciate the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) efforts to bolster the United States’ cybersecurity efforts. The tech industry has long argued that to best thwart cyberattacks industry and government must work collectively. Today’s announcement that DHS, in partnership with the Information Technology and Communications Sector Coordinating Councils, is standing up an ICT Supply Chain Task Force is an excellent example of leveraging the public-private partnership model to improve our collective cybersecurity.”
